Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital is located in Weston, a robust community of 5,000 in Lewis County, West Virginia. Our community offers a relaxed lifestyle among people noted for their easy, warm-hearted hospitality.

A pleasant, safe quality of life and low cost of living are among our community's prime assets. To cite a couple of examples: Lewis County public schools have an average pupil/teacher ratio of 7:1. The average cost of a new three-bedroom, two-bath home is $85,000. West Virginia's crime rate has been reported as fifth lowest in the United States.

Lewis County has 16 festivals and events each year. Chief among them is the Stonewall Jackson Heritage Jubilee in September, featuring heritage music and crafts, pioneer skills contests, Civil War re-enactments, entertainment shows and provincial cuisine. The Jubilee is held at picturesque WVU Jackson's Mill State 4-H Conference Center - site of Confederate General Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson's boyhood home. The Mill is proud of its affiliation with West Virginia University.

Near Weston is Stonewall Jackson Lake, a man-made recreational area offering boating, fishing, swimming, hunting and picnicking, among other activities. Weston is surrounded by a never-ending variety of recreational opportunities: snow skiing and water skiing, mountain climbing, biking, camping and whitewater rafting are all within a short drive of Weston. For sports enthusiasts, the excitement of West Virginia University Mountaineer football and basketball is just an hour away in Morgantown.

Weston's location along Interstate-79 provides quick access for a trip to Pittsburgh, PA (only 2.5 hours); Washington, DC (4.5 hours); New York, NY (7.5 hours); or a trip to Myrtle Beach, SC (8 hours).

Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital has been a part of this vibrant community for more than 35 years. We have advanced due to the trust and support of our neighbors. Like them, we take pride in a strong and dignified heritage, and in the faith that every day is a new beginning.
